For community leaders, organizers, activists, and others who work hard to create social change but risk burning out.

You’re deeply committed to doing your part to dismantle systemic oppression and work toward a world rooted in collective liberation and love. But your work is not easy.

The too-long hours, interpersonal conflicts, and struggle to honor competing priorities take a toll. You often feel exhausted and overwhelmed, and yet you often doubt that you’re doing enough.

You might long to resolve the conflicts at your work before you burn out. You may already feel burned out and long to figure out what’s next. Or you may have a vision for change but be struggling to birth it into the world on your own.

If this is you, you’re in the right place.

Burnout is not inevitable. It is possible to show up for the people you care about and honor your needs, too. You can lead effectively and experience ease at the same time. Sometimes, though, we need support and guidance to get us there.

Hi! I’m Katherine Golub, MBA, PCC (she/her).

For over eleven years, I’ve coached hundreds of community leaders, organizers, activists, and people working hard to make a difference. I help them resolve workplace conflict, heal from burnout, and create careers they love.

Before I tell you about my other offerings, I’d love to share a free taste of my work and invite you to receive my Love Letters to Changemakers.

They’re morsels of nourishment for the hearts, minds, and bodies of people committed to social justice—sent to you in short emails each week.

I write them to support your work, renew your energy, and help you get clear about what’s next.

Working with Katherine transformed how I communicate. She helped me recognize my limiting stories and unhelpful ways of communicating and handling stress. As a result, I now have a much easier time getting out of the weeds and staying centered around my priorities.

I can now help others articulate their needs and choose a response that supports my long-term vision. When other people’s emotions run hot, I take a step back, remember what is important, and listen for the other person’s underlying needs.

I no longer get hijacked by other people’s agendas or judgments, and I no longer ignore my needs in order to please others. As a result, I am now able to satisfy my duties as chairperson while maintaining healthy boundaries for myself.

Adrienne Nunez – School Committee Chairperson

I came away from our discussions looking with clear eyes at areas that had previously felt confusing or challenging and having an awareness and appreciation of the areas where things were going well. Within six months of coaching with Katherine, I started a new position that I am excited to tackle.

I feel clear-eyed about the community I am accountable to and how this new role will teach me lessons I want to learn in the next phase of my career. I also found the communication strategies that I learned with Katherine practically revolutionary. They challenged my attorney self to rethink how to work with, problem-solve, and relate to others.

Abbey Marr – Associate Counsel & Director, Prevention & Programming, NYS Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence

Katherine is incredibly versatile, intuitive, and thoughtful. She brings a wonderful array of modalities to help explore the complexities of one’s desires (our many selves!) and the challenges (the gates!).

I appreciated her willingness to be such a compassionate companion and witness and to follow where my inner wisdom wanted to take the conversation.

As a result of our work together, I claimed a larger sense of what it means to live my life regeneratively, not just simply finding a new regenerative job or vocation. Such gratitude.

Curtis Ogden – Interaction Institute for Social Change

This work helped me reconnect with my passion, navigate difficult conversations, and get clear about what I truly needed from a job.

What helped especially was learning to focus on (and experience!) the good in my life. Now, rather than letting my challenges suck up my energy and make me feel stuck, I slow down, connect with myself, and create an action plan that feels good. And I now get to experience all of the deliciousness in the moments when I’m present!

Kursten Holabird – Executive Director, SEIU Education and Support Fund

Coaching with Katherine was extremely transformational and led to huge and beautiful changes in my life. I let go of guilt, shame, and apology about following my body and intuition, excavated and realigned with my deeply held values, got clear about who and what I really want in my work life, and rooted more firmly into myself.

The experience was far more effective and transformative than any other therapeutic relationship I’ve ever had.

Caitlin Marquis, Community Organizer

I’m walking away from my work with Katherine with a new vision that I’m excited to bring to the world. My perspective has shifted, and I now have more strategies to live the life I want.

I am better at listening to my intuition, planning my weeks, and focusing on what works. I so appreciate Katherine’s ability to listen and hold space, and I’m grateful for where I came to in my work with her!
